The last three weeks have gone by quickly.

As I pondered whether or not to take a job in Norway, I concluded that at that point in my life I was trying to simplify my life.

I am down to my last week in Bergen.

This is a short story about why I titled this email and blog “Mega the Norsk”.

I went to visit Tromsø partially because I was interested in going to the northern reaches of Norway, and the primary reason was to visit more Fulbright friends.

My life in Norway feels like it has increased in speed to about 100 mph over the last 10 days.

Things are very different now than when I arrived two months ago.

Easter week in Norway is a big deal, at a minimum for the number of days off.

The quick summary of my time in Oslo is that it was a bit of everything.

It is not surprising because that first weekend in Bergen feels like a distant memory from where I am at today.
